MixAlco® – Future Demonstration Plant
Terrabon's future plans call for a 50-to-100-dry-ton-per-day demonstration plant for converting plant biomass into fuels and chemicals.
The plant, which would occupy approximately 10 acres, would produce:
- 17 to 35 million pounds per year of acetic acid,
- 1.0 to 2.0 million gallons per year of renewable gasoline, or
- 2.0 to 4.3 million gallons per year of ethanol.
